We know asking for money can be intimidating. But curing cancer takes everyone's support! Remember, 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to funding cancer research at VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Here are a few tips and tricks to help get you started:
Make it easy for people to donate to you by customizing your personal page.
Make a donation to your own goal so your donors know you're serious about your goal!
Share your web link on social media via our social sharing options.
Start early and ask everyone! You never know who your cause may affect personally like your family, friends, coworkers, clients, neighbors, classmates, doctors, dry cleaner, fitness facility... you name it! We've all been touched by cancer, ask everyone for their story!
Challenge yourself - set a stretch goal!
Be BOLD! Have fun!
Creativity encouraged. Host a fundraising event to help meet your goal. Ideas include: asking your favorite restaurant to donate a percentage of sales one night, ask for donations in lieu of birthday or holiday gifts, or consider a bake sale, jeans day, etc.
